Diamond Simcox 17U beat Troy Post 70 17U, 11-2 to win the PBR Alabama Open in Albertville, AL, June 10-12, 2022. A dominant performance in the championship game, Diamond took the lead never let up, winning 11-2. Securing the lead in the 6th inning, big bats were led by singles from Eli Hames (Maryville) and Seth Adams (Bradley Central), and a triple by Miller Spence (Knox Catholic). Diamond had 5 runs in the 4th inning with a double from Turner Stout (Dobyns-Bennett) and singles from Luke Seagrist (Bearden) and William Webb (Hardin Valley). Mark Underwood (Farragut) went 2-4. The team totaled 16 hits in the victory. Webb was the winning pitcher, throwing 6 innings with another solid performance on the mound.
